At Black Growth CIC, we focus on more than food — it's about education, community and cultural connection. While we love our chard and potatoes, we are also proud to grow heritage and heirloom varieties that are significant to the African diaspora communities and broader food justice movement.

This interactive game is our way of bringing those stories to life. Can you tell an ackee from its flower? Do you know the plant behind Jamaica's national dish, or the vine that fed communities across the Atlantic? Have a go and find out — there's no green fingers required.

Every crop in this quiz has a journey worth knowing. We hope it sparks a little curiosity, and maybe even inspires a visit to the farm where many of these grow.
